At the meetings, NA Vice President Nguyen Thi Thanh affirmed that Viet Nam always attaches importance to its relations with Switzerland and wishes to further deepen the Comprehensive Partnership between the two countries on the basis of equality and mutual benefit.

She proposed that the two sides would increase delegation exchanges, share experience in policymaking and lawmaking in areas of common interest, and continue their coordination and mutual support at multilateral parliamentary forums.

She also affirmed that Viet Nam always remembers and values the friendship and support extended by Switzerland’s left-wing parties and people, and expressed the hope that the two sides would continue to promote their traditional relations and strengthen exchanges of information, theoretical perspectives and experience, thereby contributing to stronger bilateral ties.
