At the meeting, NA Vice Chairman Nguyen Khac Dinh said that Vietnam and Thailand will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the establishment of an enhanced Strategic Partnership in 2023. He proposed that the legislatures and the governments of the two countries increase the exchange of delegations at all levels.
In particular, in order to promote cooperation between the legislative bodies of the two countries, it is necessary to promote the exchange of high-level delegations and committees, promote the exchange of parliamentarians, and cooperate closely in regional and international forums, he added.
In addition, the legislative bodies of the two countries should continue to exchange experiences in perfecting institutions, policies and laws in order to create favourable conditions for enterprises of the two countries to invest and do business in each country. They should also continue to pay attention to creating favourable conditions for the Vietnamese community to live and study do business in Thailand, he noted.
For his part, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Administrative Management Paijit Sreewaranka expressed his impression and appreciation for Vietnam's socio-economic development achievements in recenttime.
The Thai delegation's visit aimed to make a practical contribution to enhancing the practical and effectiverelationship between the two countries in general and the two legislative bodies in particular, he said.
