Foreign Ministry Spokesman Binh said the re-election demonstrated WTO members’ recognition of Roberto Azevêdo’s active contributions to the multilateral trading system during the last term.
Vietnam believes that in the next tenure, Roberto Azevêdo will continue to promote the system and the role of the WTO, while paying attention to ensuring the interests of and increasing technical assistance to developing members of the organisation, including Vietnam, he added.
