On this occasion, the Vietnamese delegation was also received by Executive Committee Chairman of the CPJ Shii Kazuo.

Comrade Shii Kazuo affirmed that the relationship with the CPV was the most important relationship in the external relations of the CPJ.
The CPJ expressed its support for Vietnam's position on resolving disputes in the East Sea by peaceful means, based on international law, including the 1982 United Nations Convention of the Law of the Sea, ensuring the safety and freedom of navigation and overflight in the region.
