Vietnam, Laos step up experience exchange on mass mobilisation

Affirming that Vietnam strongly and comprehensively supports Laos' reform process, Hoai emphasised the importance of the countries’ special solidarity, contributing to each country’s maintaining of stability, socio-economic development, and expansion of foreign relations and international integration.

Appreciating Laos’s great support for Vietnam in the past and the current time, Hoai stated Vietnam will do its best to join Laos in preserving and cultivating their special solidarity toward effectiveness and practical outcomes across all fields.

In response, Khoutphaythoune expressed his delight at the expansion of the bilateral ties and thanked Vietnam for assisting his country in its past struggle for independence and current national reform, protection and development.

The two officials exchanged information on the situations of their nations and parties as well as the outcomes of joint works between the Commission for Mass Mobilisation and LFNC so far. They also discussed cooperation direction in the time to come, particularly regarding the implementation of the resolutions of their parties’ national congress.

The sides agreed to strengthen information exchange, share experience on mass mobilisation, cooperate for mutual support, and direct Vietnamese and Lao localities to team up in running communications campaigns and educating the two countries' people on the importance and vital meaning of the nations’ relationship.

They affirmed that they will work closely to effectively carry out high-level agreements between the two Parties and countries as well as between the commission and the front for the 2021-2025 period, contributing to deepening the bilateral great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation.
