The competition is the first in Vietnam and comes within the “Accelerating Innovative Start-ups for Energy Efficiency” (AIS4EE) project’s framework under the EU-Vietnam Sustainable Energy Transition Programme, funded by the European Union.
The programme is dedicated to startups and students, attracting investment in innovative energy efficiency solutions in Vietnam's industry, transport and construction.
Applications for the competition should be submitted no later than September 25, with the final round scheduled for March 2025.
The total prize pool is 35,000 USD for startup businesses and 10,000 USD for startup students.
Participants can also join in activities to call for funding from international and domestic venture capital funds.
