The two-day event is the first and largest expo on the semiconductor industry to be held in Vietnam by the Ministry of Planning and Investment and the NIC.

In his opening speech, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung expressed his hope that SEMIExpo Vietnam 2024 will serve as a platform to promote cooperation among Vietnamese enterprises and the semiconductor business community in general, contributing to developing Vietnam into an important link in the global semiconductor supply chain.

The exhibition attracts more than 5,000 delegates from the semiconductor and electronics design, manufacturing, and supply chains worldwide, including major semiconductor technology giants such as Cadence, Qualcomm, Intel, Qorvo, Siemens, Tektronix, FPT, and Viettel.

The participating businesses brought to the event 100 booths providing insights into the latest global technology trends in the semiconductor sector, including AI applications in chip design, and engaged in dialogue with government agencies to develop the industry's ecosystem and workforce.

Assorted seminars, forums, and business meetings are also scheduled within the framework of the expo to discuss opportunities and strengthen international cooperation between domestic and foreign semiconductor businesses.
