In reply to reporters’ queries regarding the issue in Hanoi on February 25, the spokesman noted, “The agreement will create the highest legal framework on civil nuclear power co-operation between Vietnam and the US."
The document will make it easier for Vietnam to access and peacefully utilise advanced nuclear materials and technologies from the US in a safe and effective manner for the sake of its socio-economic development, Binh said.
