Speaking at the reception, President of the Senate Samdech Techo Hun Sen congratulated Ambassador Nguyen Huy Tang on the excellent performance of his duties and highly appreciated the contributions of the ambassador personally, as well as the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia in general, in consolidating and fostering the relationship and cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia in all fields.
President Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed his delight at the development of the good neighbourly relationship, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, and long-term sustainability between the two countries in recent times.
He also highly appreciated the fact that the two sides regularly maintain high-level visits, contacts and meeting mechanisms between ministries, branches and localities of the two countries.
On this occasion, the Cambodian leader expressed his wish that the two countries continue to strengthen and promote cooperation in the fields of politics, economics, trade and tourism for the benefit of the people of each country, for peace, stability and development in the region and the world.
For his part, Ambassador Nguyen Huy Tang sincerely thanked President Samdech Techo Hun Sen and leaders at all levels of Cambodia for always supporting, helping and creating the best favourable conditions for the Ambassador to fulfil his duties during his time working in Cambodia.

Ambassador Nguyen Huy Tang highly appreciated the stable development and great achievements in all aspects that Cambodia has attained in recent times.
Ambassador Nguyen Huy Tang highly appreciated the good development of the Vietnam-Cambodia friendly relationship over the past 57 years. He also expressed his belief that the relationship between the two countries will certainly continue to develop more strongly in all areas.
On the occasion, President Samdech Techo Hun Sen also awarded the Sahametrei Medal, Moha Sena class, in recognition of Ambassador Nguyen Huy Tang's great contributions to the cause of building and fostering the traditional friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia.
