The Vietnamese pavilions have attracted large crowds of partners and visitors with a variety of food and beverage exhibits, which have been highly appreciated in terms of both patterns and quality.
The five-day event features roughly 2,500 booths representing companies from more than 40 countries from around the world, on an area of 107,000 square metres. Thaifex is considered as an opportunity to lure organic food processors.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Thai Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak thanked the businesses for participating in the exhibition, while hailing the event as an opportunity for them to strengthen trade cooperation, links and promotions, aiming to further expand their food and beverage markets in the region and the world.
On the sidelines of Thaifex 2018, the trade mission of the Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand worked with the Association of High-Quality Vietnamese Goods Producers to organise a workshop themed “Connecting ASEAN firms in developing the market between ASEAN nations and their partner countries”.
The event aimed to work out measures for the challenges posed by the fourth Industrial Revolution, in addition to sharing experience in product development and commercialisation. On the occasion, many Vietnamese and Thai companies signed cooperation deals in the field of food and beverages.
