Tasting Vietnam featured the participation of more than 40 guests representing the purchasing departments from leading retail groups (such as Central Retail, Siam Makro, Big C, The Mall Group) and enterprises designated to directing the imports of Thailand.
With a new approach and focusing on the finished product experience in the form of business-to-business transactions, the event marked a strong transformation of Vietnam's food and beverage industry with the orientation of deep and sustainable integration with the international market.
Vu Kim Anh, a Representative of the Business Association of High Quality Vietnamese Products, said the event aimed to change the approach to trade promotion as turning those products into very special dishes of Vietnam with ingredients from businesses that participated in the event, instead of meetings among businesses.

The products from businesses such as QP Foods, Khai Hoan, Tri Kien, Khanh Ha Foods and Tan Nhien, etc., represent a new generation of products that meet the diverse tastes of global consumers. They apply advanced processing technology to keep the identity and promote the quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine.
At the event, through the hands and unlimited creativity of artisans, the quintessence of local raw materials such as Bac Giang lychee, Phu Quoc fish sauce, Cu Phong grapes, Tay Ninh rice paper, etc., has become a unique source of ingredients to create outstanding culinary dishes from all regions in Vietnam, making the guests extremely excited.
Wisan Anggurarat, Deputy Commercial Director in charge of the fresh food market of Siam Makro, a subsidiary of Charoen Pokphand (CP) Group of Thailand, said a wide range of products at the event related to high quality Vietnamese food dishes with scrumptious taste and these products can be popular in Thailand.
Meanwhile, Nguyen Hai Son, a representative of ThaiBev, which accompanies the Vietnam Trade Office in Thailand to organize the “Tasting Vietnam”, highly appreciated the new format, connectivity and effectiveness of the event.

The “Tasting Vietnam” programme 2023 was an important trade activity that will contribute to providing product information to be displayed visually, affirming belief in the products’ quality and making an important contribution to helping importers choose the right product.
