Vietnamese police officers honoured by UNMISS

The award ceremony was held at 9:30 AM on April 10 (local time) at the United Nations base at UN House, Juba.

At the ceremony, Christen Fossen recognised that the three Vietnamese police officers had demonstrated exemplary performance in carrying out their assigned responsibilities and tasks, affirming that Vietnamese officers always show high responsibility and professional capacity.

She commented that Vietnamese officers are always friendly and sociable, spreading positive energy to everyone around them. She noted that she is very impressed with the team of Vietnamese police officers for their exceptional performance in many aspects outside of work, including the promotion of traditional culture and the spirit of solidarity for peace to international friends.

She added that she always looks forward to attending events organised by the Vietnamese team.

Lieutenant Colonel Luong Thi Tra Vinh thanked the UNMISS for their care and creation of working conditions and opportunities for Vietnamese police officers. She said Vietnamese officers have always strived to accomplish high achievements worthy of the trust of the UNMISS leader.
