In 2023, the Hung Kings Commemoration Day falls on April 29, which is immediately followed by the other two anniversaries.

Since the Southern Liberation and National Reunification Day and Labour Day fall on Saturday and Sunday respectively, workers will enjoy two more days off on the following Monday and Tuesday in compensation.

This is the second longest holiday of the year, after the seven-day Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday in January.

The subsequent holiday will last four days from September 1-4 in celebration of Vietnamese National Day.

Under the current Labour Code, Vietnam celebrates a total of 11 public holidays per year.
