VN-Index falls

VN-Index dropped 0.79% to 1,094.13 points on November 30.

The index closed 8.67 points lower after gaining 7.37 points in the previous session.

Trading on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange rose by 16% to 14.67 trillion VND (604.35 million USD).

The VN-30 basket, comprising the 30 largest capped stocks, witnessed 28 tickers fell.

Foreign investors were net sellers to the tune of 392 billion VND, mainly selling HPG of steelmaker Hoa Phat Group and VNM of dairy company Vinamilk.

The HNX-Index for stocks on the Hanoi Stock Exchange decreased 0.39%, while the UPCoM-Index for the Unlisted Public Companies Market reduced 0.06%.
