Trading on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HoSE) fell 6.7% to 19.24 trillion VND (792.52 million USD).
The VN30 basket, comprising the 30 largest capped stocks, saw 17 tickers gained.
The HNX-Index for stocks on the Hanoi Stock Exchange gained 0.69% while the UPCoM-Index for the Unlisted Public Companies Market rose 0.05%.
