Work begins on 6.3 trillion VND Dong Anh Industrial Park

Viet Nam Construction and Import-Export Joint Stock Corporation (VINACONEX), in collaboration with the Ha Noi People’s Committee, held a groundbreaking ceremony on May 20 for the Dong Anh Industrial Park, which carries a total investment of more than 6.3 trillion VND.

Speaking at the ceremony, VINACONEX Chief Executive Officer Pham Thai Duong pledged that the company would mobilise maximum resources in finance, human capital, technology and management capacity to ensure the project progresses on schedule, meets quality standards and strictly adheres to environmental and sustainable development requirements.

Covering nearly 300 hectares in Thu Lam and Phuc Thinh communes, the project forms a key component of the overall development plan for the northern area of the Red River.

It benefits from a strategic location at the northern gateway of Ha Noi, directly connected to major transport infrastructure such as the Nhat Tan–Noi Bai route, National Highway 18, the Ha Noi–Thai Nguyen expressway and Ring Road 3, while also enjoying rapid access to Noi Bai International Airport, Gia Binh International Airport and logistics hubs across the northern region.

The industrial park is expected to become one of the capital’s modern production centres, capable of deep integration into global supply chains, attracting high-tech industries, logistics, supporting industries and sectors with high added value.

Unlike the traditional industrial park model, Dong Anh Industrial Park is designed as a next-generation facility — a hub for high technology, clean industry, logistics and innovation; oriented towards creating an ecological, smart, low-emission industrial zone, progressively integrating more deeply into global value chains and supporting Viet Nam’s commitment to net-zero emissions by 2050.
