Work on Hanoi’s fourth ring road to commence on June 25

Work on Hanoi’s fourth ring road is scheduled to start on June 25, said the capital city’s Party Secretary Dinh Tien Dung.

He told the media on June 13 that about 80% of the land for the 112.8-kilometre-long road, of which 58 kilometres run through Hanoi, will be cleared by the end of the month.

Besides the capital city, the fourth ring road also traverses the two neighbouring provinces of Hung Yen and Bac Ninh.

Ceremonies to kick off the project will be held at four locations in Soc Son, Hoai Duc, Thanh Oai and Thuong Tin Districts.

Hanoi’s fourth ring road is a key national project with a total cost of over 85.8 trillion VND (3.65 billion USD), which will be implemented in the form of public investment and public-private partnerships.
