Work starts on electronic and car parts factory in Nghe An Province

Ju Teng International Holdings from Taiwan (China) on September 22 launched the construction of a plant to manufacture electronic and car parts in Vietnam’s central province of Nghe An.

The project covers 120 hectares in the Hoang Mai I Industrial Park, with the first phase having an investment of 200 million USD and employing about 6,000-9,000 workers.

Ju Teng Chairman Cheng Li-Yu pledged to put the factory into operation by June 2023, utilising new production technology to make it a modern manufacturing facility.

The Ju Teng project and supporting projects will form a supply chain, helping enterprises in Nghe An Province participate in the global value chain.

Speaking at the ground-breaking ceremony, Nghe An Chairman Nguyen Duc Trung pledged to create the most favourable conditions during the implementation of the project.

He asked provincial departments and functional agencies to work together to address the difficulties facing the investor so that the project may come into operation safely and smoothly.

The Ju Teng project has affirmed the attractiveness of the investment climate in Nghe An Province.
