A minor explosion was reported from a garbage dump in Pugoda, in the eastern outskirts of Sri Lankan capital Colombo on April 25, police said. The explosion occurred at around 9:00 a.m. local time and police have cordoned off the area to conduct investigations.

* The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) on Wednesday (April 24) welcomed the statement by Ukraine's newly-elected president Volodymyr Zelensky on the continuation of the Minsk process.

* Libya's UN-backed Prime Minister Fayez Serraj denied calling for ceasefire between the government and the east-based army, as both parties continue fighting for control over the capital Tripoli, the government spokesperson said Wednesday.
