The official said Iran has no limit from now for production of enriched uranium and heavy water.
Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said that Tehran does not seek war with the United States despite mounting tensions between the two arch-enemies over Iranian nuclear capabilities and its missile programme.
Khamenei also said Tehran would not negotiate with the United States on another nuclear deal.
Meanwhile US President Donald Trump denied a report that US officials were discussing a military plan to send up to 120,000 troops to the Middle East to counter any attack or nuclear weapons acceleration by Iran.
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo also said that the United States does not want a war with Iran but noted that the US would respond if its interests were attacked.
