A workshop entitled “55 years of Uncle Ho's passing - 55 years of preserving and promoting the value of the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace (1969-2024)”, was held in Hanoi on June 18.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong emphasised the legacy of President Ho Chi Minh - Hero of Vietnamese national liberation, an outstanding cultural figure giving us priceless cultural heritage, which is his Relic Site at the Presidential Palace.

Located inside the Presidential Palace in Hanoi, the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site was the living and working place of President Ho Chi Minh, from 1958 until his death in 1969.

It is now home to documents, photos and objects, illustrating the beloved leader’s ideology, lifestyle, and morality, as well as his dedication to the national revolutionary cause.

Over the past 55 years, the Relic has become a sacred “red address”, welcoming nearly 90 million visitors from all over the country and from 160 countries and territories around the world.

With more than 50 speeches, the workshop focused on affirming the values of Ho Chi Minh's heritage in the Relic Site; as well as clarified and emphasised the significance of the work of preserving Ho Chi Minh’s heritage in the relic area.
