The joint initiative aims to plant 1.25 hectares of forests, equivalent to 500 green trees, to enhance awareness of the ecosystem among the French business community in Vietnam and contribute to the Vietnamese government’s sustainability goals.

The community forest project focuses on protecting biodiversity and wildlife in Vietnam, as well as supporting local communities living in the buffer zone of the Dong Nai Biosphere Reserve by regulating water sources and empowering them with tree planting.

The initiative is also expected to play a role in preventing the extinction of 110 rare species of plants and animals on Vietnam’s red list.

Hoang Tri Mai, CEO of Airbus Vietnam, said the project is entirely in line with the company’s commitment to environmental sustainability.

She added that the project is an opportunity for Airbus to protect the ecosystem, connect further with the local community and support Vietnam’s sustainable development efforts.
