An Bang Beach, which is located in Cam An Ward and about 5km from Hoi An Ancient Town, used to be a bathing beach for fishermen in the past, so it is absolutely pristine and quiet.
Most visitors to the beach are foreigners, mainly from Europe, Japan and the Republic of Korea. Western tourists like to lie down on benches to read books or enjoy the peaceful sceneries.
There are no large-scale hotels and resorts in An Bang, but instead many homestays and small restaurants are popular here. Most of them were designed and decorated according to the style of Vietnamese villages with bamboo chairs and tables, lanterns and small bamboo beds.
