Within the closing ceremony, the organising board presented 3 gold and 3 silver prizes to the most outstanding programmes, along with 14 gold, 23 silver, and 5 bronze prizes for the best performances, and 8 prizes for creative performances.

Thang Long Song and Dance Theatre from Hanoi won two gold, and three silver prizes.

The six-day event drew the participation of more than 200 artists from 10 Vietnamese troupes and four art troupes from Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar and Malaysia.

The participating artists and performers brought to the stage a series of performances conveying the message of “United, Creative - Shining Together”.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ta Quang Dong emphasised that through their performances, the artists introduced the audience to the creativity and typical values of music of their countries, thereby providing a deeper understanding of the spiritual and cultural lives, customs and music of ASEAN nations.

The music festival also helped to bring people in the ASEAN bloc closer together, contributing to the solidarity, development, and further prosperity of the ASEAN community, he stressed.
