Approved by the prime minister as a level II national logistics centre, the project spans 67 hectares with a total investment of nearly 4.2 trillion VND. It features a multifunctional warehouse system, bonded warehouses, e-commerce and cold storage facilities, and modern logistics solutions such as one-stop e-commerce hubs and import-export agricultural hubs.

The centre integrates digital technology, AI, and automation; meets US LEED green standards; and uses renewable energy and eco-friendly materials.

Speaking at the event, Nguyen Viet Oanh, Chairman of Bac Giang Provincial People’s Committee, emphasised the centre’s strategic significance, highlighting its role in advancing Bac Giang’s logistics infrastructure, boosting trade and industrial growth, and fostering global integration.

Positioned on the vital Hanoi-Lang Son route, just 49 km from Noi Bai Airport and close to major border gates and seaports, the centre plays a key role in regional economic connectivity.

The project addresses Bac Giang’s logistics challenges such as high transport costs and complex administrative procedures, offering 24/7 customs services, streamlined customs supervision for Chinese vehicles, and integrated e-commerce hubs. These improvements aim to shorten processing times and enhance supply chain efficiency.

By 2025–2030, the centre aspires to be a major northern logistics hub, connecting global supply chains and promoting sustainable logistics, thereby elevating Bac Giang’s and Vietnam’s role in international trade.
