The event aims to create a forum for leaders of banks in Vietnam to exchange and share experiences, while making recommendations towards perfecting the legal framework to promote national digital transformation.

Speaking at the event, General Secretary of Vietnam Bankers Association Nguyen Quoc Hung stressed that digital transformation and non-cash payments have been accelerated, and their services have become popular in today’s life.

However, he noted that the digital transformation process of banks in Vietnam has still seen many shortcomings regarding its compatibility and synchronism. Thus, the seminar was expected to provide an opportunity for the banking sector to learn and exchange useful experiences in addressing the problem.

The speakers at the seminar, who included reputable leaders and experts in the banking industry, gave many insightful opinions on various topics such as building relationships and connecting customers in the digital world, improving customer experience during the COVID-19 pandemic, and promoting technology integration and partnerships between banks and financial technology (Fintech), among others.

They also proposed initiatives and solutions to facilitate banking operations and ensure safety and security for online transactions.
