In addition to custard apple fruits, the week also includes 30 booths introducing typical farm products of Lang Son province.
Custard apple is a fruit of high economic value in Lang Son province with an annual output of around 40,000 tonnes, generating a value of 1.2 trillion VND.
Most of the growing areas are located in Chi Lang and Huu Lung districts, with a total area of over 4,000 hectares. Of which, more than 1,000 hectares are produced per VietGAP and Global GAP standards.
Alongside the promotion week for Chi Lang custard apple, a fair of agricultural products kicked off, featuring more than 150 booths showcasing specialities from localities across the country.
