Spring fair features various specialties

The 2015 Spring Fair, featuring various specialties from all regions of the country, officially kicked off at the Vietnam Exhibition and Fair Centre in Hanoi on February 6.

The fair, covering an area of 16,000 square metres, displays nearly 900 stalls of more than 500 enterprises from over 35 provinces and cities around the country.

Visitors to the fair have a chance to enjoy many kinds of regional specialties from provinces and cities throughout the country including Nam Roi pomelo, Ben Tre coconut candy, Phu Quoc fish sauce, Hoa Loc and Cao Lanh mango.

A wide variety of exquisite and unique handicraft products, along with flowers and plants from numerous localities including yellow apricot blossom from Ho Chi Minh City and Da Lat orchids, will also be showcased at the event.

The fair has maintained its unique exhibition from the previous year, displaying local products that were used as gifts to the Kings in the feudal dynasties, such as black coot, Tan Son nine-spur rooster, Anh Vu fish and Van Phuc silk.

The 2015 Spring Fair will run until February 16.
