Seminar promotes business opportunities in Vietnam to Israeli firms

A seminar was held in the city of Tel Aviv, Israel, on May 30 to promote business opportunities in Vietnam to Israeli importers.

The event attracted the participation of the Federation of the Israeli Chambers of Commerce, the Israel-Asia Chamber of Commerce and 30 Israeli enterprises operating in various fields.

Speaking at the seminar, Member of the Presidium of theFederation of the Israeli Chambers of Commerce Roy Roznek appreciated the organisation of the seminar, creating favourable conditions for Israeli enterprises to learn more about business cooperation opportunities with Vietnamese market and businesses.

Emphasising the strong development of the economic cooperation between Vietnam and Israel, he noted that many Israeli importers wished to seek the source of supply of food, agricultural products, seafood, consumer goods, textiles and garments, electronics, furniture and construction materials, from Vietnamese partners.

At the seminar, the Vietnamese Ambassador to Israel, Do Minh Hung, informed participants of Vietnam’s achievements in socio-economic development and international economic integration as well as the free trade agreements and deep economic links that Vietnam and foreign partners have signed.

He also introduced important policies set by the Vietnamese Government to support enterprises and promote production and business activities in the country.

The Ambassador reviewed the development of Vietnam – Israel cooperation in many fields, especially in trade exchange, agriculture, and training and supply of human resources.
