Canadian naval ship visits Ho Chi Minh City

NDO/VNA—The Canadian Navy’s HMCS Vancouver arrived in Ho Chi Minh City on October 18 with 36 officers and 200 crew members on board, beginning a four-day visit to Vietnam.

The delegation was welcomed by representatives from the municipal People’s Committee, the High Command of Military Zone 7 and the Naval High Command, among others.

During their stay in Vietnam, the Canadian officers and sailors will pay courtesy visits to the leaders of the municipal People’s Committee, the High Command of Military Zone 7 and the Vietnam Naval Armed Service.

They will also play a volleyball match with officials and students at the Navy Technical School.
