General Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam Central Committee and State President To Lam has sent a message of condolences to Timor-Leste President José Ramos-Horta over the passing of Francisco Guterres “Lu Olo”, former President of the country and President of the Revolutionary Front for an Independent Timor-Leste (FRETILIN).
Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung also extended condolences to Timor-Leste Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Bendito dos Santos Freitas and FRETILIN Secretary-General Marí bin Amude Alkatiri.
