Conference held to grasp regulations on power control in cadre work

The Party Central Committee (PCC)’s Organisation Commission held a conference to thoroughly grasp and implement the new regulations promulgated by the Politburo and the Secretariat on Party organisation and building.

The conference was chaired by Politburo member, Permanent member of the PCC and Chairwoman of the PCC’s Organisation Commission Truong Thi Mai.

At the conference, leaders of the PCC’s Organisation Commission presented the key content and important new points in Regulation No.114-QD/TW, dated July 11, 2023 of the Politburo on controlling power and anti-corruption in cadre work and Regulation No.113-QD/TW, dated 10/7/2023 of the Secretariat.

Politburo member Truong Thi Mai suggested all levels of Party committees, localities, party organisations, agencies and units actively review and strictly implement Regulation No.114 in accordance within the actual situation and the scope of their powers.

More attention should be paid to the handling of violations and considering the responsibility of the violating collectives and individuals according to regulations, she noted.

The PCC’s Organisation Commission is being assigned the task of formulating regulations on the authority of the head in cadre work; regulations for young cadres, cadres with outstanding ability; regulations on detecting, using and allocating talent, she said, adding that these regulations will supplement Regulation No.114, making staff work more substantively, following the trend of development and higher levels of progress.
