Themed ‘Global digital cooperation – Trusted partner in building the digital world’, the event attracted the participation of MIC leaders, technology enterprises and associations, representatives of embassies, international consulting organisations, and foreign trade promotion agencies in Vietnam.

Addressing the conference, MIC Deputy Minister Phan Tam hailed that, in recent years, Vietnamese digital enterprises have developed rapidly in both quantity and competitiveness.

They have provided digital products, services and solutions, that help to facilitate the development of digital transformation, digital economy and digital society, in the country, while contributing to narrowing the global digital gap and building the digital world.

He quoted the statistics from the International Telecommunication Union, which showed that an estimated 49% of the world's population – or nearly 4 billion people – have not connected to the Internet yet.

This is an opportunity for Vietnamese digital enterprises to expand their markets, and bring their technology to solve digital transformation problems in other countries, thus contributing to the building of a digital world, he stressed.

At the conference, representatives from the Viettel Military Industry and Telecoms Group (Viettel) and FPT Corporation, shared their experience in going global. They also joined other participants, to discuss ways for Vietnamese digital businesses to grasp business opportunities and seek partners in foreign markets.
