The contest is co-organised by Viet Nam Television, the National Data Centre, the National Data Association, and Techcombank within the framework of the 2025 Unitour series.

Unitour aims to connect universities with businesses and the startup community while promoting creativity and the practical application of AI to solve real-world problems.

The series is held across three major cities, with the similar AI contest is scheduled to be launched at Da Nang University of Science and Technology on September 8 and Ha Noi University of Science and Technology on September 16.

The competition offers a global AI scholarship valued at 1 million USD alongside total prizes worth billions of Vietnamese Dong.

Unitour 2025 focuses on four main objectives: inspiring AI creativity, linking academic institutions with enterprises, providing information on competition rules and necessary skills for contestants, and building a dynamic, sustainable young AI community.

Other key activities include showcasing practical AI applications, career orientation talk shows with experts, interactions with the programme’s production team on VTV, and various technology giveaways.

The series is designed as a platform to update students on the latest AI trends, help them understand labour market demands in AI, and ignite a passion for technology, while fostering connections and building a vibrant, creative young AI community in Viet Nam.
