Contest seeks ideas on digital transformation in education

The Saigon Hi-Tech Park Incubation Centre (SHTP-IC) in coordination with KDI Education Joint Stock Company, launched the DigiTrans Edtech 2022 contest with the theme of application of digital transformation in the field of education in Ho Chi Minh City on August 20.

The contest aims to seek and promote highly practical digital transformation ideas in the field of education throughout Vietnam, and at the same time create an innovation playground for start-ups and students across the country.

DigiTrans Edtech 2022 is expected to attract more than 1,000 participants who are start-ups, students from universities, high schools, and junior high schools in Ho Chi Minh City and other locations such as Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Long An, and Tien Giang.

The contest is divided into two groups: Group A is for students and start-ups, while Group B is for high school and junior high school students. The deadline to register for the contest is September 10, 2022.

The competition will focus on intensive training and consulting activities in technology fields for digital transformation activities in education such as STEM, innovative thinking for students, programming, automation and artificial intelligence, to help focus on improving basic skills in project development activities.
