President of the National Assembly of Côte d’Ivoire Patrick Achi was born on November 17, 1955, in Paris, France. He holds a Master’s degree in Physics from the National University of Côte d’Ivoire and a Master’s degree in Management from Stanford University in the US. In 1992, he founded a strategic and management consulting firm.
He became a technical adviser at Côte d’Ivoire’s Ministry of Energy in 1999 and Minister of Economic Infrastructure in October 2000. He became a Member of National Assembly and President of the Regional Council of La Mé, Côte d’Ivoire, in 2013, and Secretary-General of the Presidency of Côte d’Ivoire in 2017.
He served as Prime Minister of Côte d’Ivoire from March 2021 to October 2023. In January 2025, he was appointed Minister of State and Special Adviser to the President of Côte d’Ivoire. In January 2026, he became President of the National Assembly of Côte d’Ivoire.
