The event, the 10th of its kind, was jointly organised by the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Online Newspaper and the Naval High Command.

The 90-minute programme, which was broadcast live on the Vietnam Television Channel 1 (VTV1), the CPV Online Newspaper, and the Vietnam National Defence Television channel, featured songs and dances paying tribute to naval officers and soldiers who made great contributions to the cause of national construction and defence.

The event also aimed to educate young people and tighten the ties between soldiers and people.
