Speaking at the press conference held in Buon Ma Thuot city on February 17, Vice Chairman of Dak Lak provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Tuan Ha revealed that the festival will feature 18 official activities.
Prominent among the activities will include a fair of 400 booths by 150 coffee businesses at home and abroad, a workshop, a street carnival, a coffee-making contest, and a boat race.
Notably, on March 10, locals and visitors will be offered free coffee drinks at hundreds of cafeterias in Buon Ma Thuot city and several other localities of Dak Lak.
The biennial festival aims to honour coffee growers, processors, and traders, while promoting the brand of Buon Ma Thuot coffee and introducing the locality’s potential to attract more investment in coffee processing and agricultural products, throughout Dak Lak province.
Also, this morning, the festival’s organising board announced winners of a video-making contest on Buon Ma Thuot coffee, with one first, one second, one third and three consolation prizes being awarded to the best entries.
The contest was launched four months ago within the framework of the Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival 2023. It attracted 21 entries by 19 contestants.
