Reporting at the site, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan said construction and installation across all exhibition zones were being carried out at full speed. Both interior and exterior areas of the Viet Nam Exposition Centre (VEC) are operating around the clock to meet deadlines.

All 34 provinces and cities have confirmed participation and received detailed information on booth locations, technical requirements and display areas of 200–250 m² each.

According to the organiser, more than half of participating units have already taken over their exhibition spaces, while no enterprise has withdrawn. Access gates have been kept open 24/7 to facilitate construction, with many localities and businesses working day and night.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has also stepped up communications, issuing the official logo and visual identity for nationwide promotion and coordinating with Viet Nam Television on the live broadcast of the opening ceremony, scheduled for 10:00 am on February 2, 2026.

Other ministries and Ha Noi authorities reported that assigned tasks were on track, including cultural and artistic programmes, agricultural product showcases, logistics, security, market surveillance, healthcare services and transport arrangements. Special emphasis has been placed on quality control, origin tracing of goods, environmental sanitation and visitor safety.

Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son stressed that the Spring Fair 2026, held at the country’s largest exhibition centre, should reflect both the vibrant spirit of the Lunar New Year and the new development phase following the 14th National Party Congress. He called for close coordination among ministries, sectors and local authorities to ensure progress, quality and safety.

The Spring Fair 2026, themed “Connecting Prosperity – Welcoming a Glorious Spring”, will take place from February 2 to 13, 2026 at the Viet Nam Exposition Centre in Dong Anh, Ha Noi. It is expected to serve as a major driver of domestic consumption and a showcase for Vietnamese brands during the Lunar New Year 2026.
