Spring Fair 2026: Stimulating Domestic Consumption during the peak Tet season

With the theme “Connecting Prosperity - Welcoming a Glorious Spring”, the Spring Fair 2026 is assessed not only as a large-scale trade and service event, but also as an important political task, contributing to stimulating consumer demand and developing the domestic market during the peak Tet season.

The first Spring Fair in 2026 is organised on the basis of the outstanding success of the first Autumn Fair in 2025.

Implementing the direction of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the Government Standing Committee meeting on January 26, 2026, regarding the organisation of the Spring Fair 2026, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has announced that the Spring Fair 2026 will take place from February 2 to February 13 at the National Exhibition and Fair Centre (VEC), Dong Anh, Ha Noi.

The opening ceremony is scheduled to be held on the evening of February 2. Trade activities, cultural performances and product promotion will take place continuously from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. every day. The event is regarded as the largest trade, cultural and tourism promotion activity marking the start of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year.

The Spring Fair 2026 is organised on the foundation of the remarkable success of the first Autumn Fair in 2025—an event assessed as the first national-scale “super fair” in Viet Nam, with an exhibition area of up to 130,000 square metres, a scale of 3,000 booths, the participation of around 2,500 domestic and foreign enterprises, and an average of 100,000 visitors per day.

The organisation of the Spring Fair 2026 demonstrates the Government’s determination to develop domestic trade into an important pillar of the economy, alongside exports and investment; at the same time, it creates momentum to promote production, circulation and distribution of goods serving Tet consumption, contributing to market stabilisation and enhancing the confidence of the public and businesses from the very beginning of the year.

A highlight of the Spring Fair 2026 is that it is organised as a spring journey across Viet Nam, where economic, cultural and creative values converge; it is structured into eight main thematic zones with distinctive content.

Overall, these zones create a harmonious picture integrating economy, culture, consumption and experience, where Vietnamese goods, Vietnamese people and the Vietnamese spirit resonate together in the atmosphere of the new spring, spreading confidence, aspirations for development and the country’s spirit of integration.
