Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has requested ministries, agencies and localities to step up the supply and promotion of local products and brands at the first Spring Fair 2026, which is being held at the National Exposition Centre in Ha Noi from February 2 to 13.

Amid the profound restructuring of global supply chains and the increasingly stringent requirements for sustainable development, environmental standards, and digital transformation, enhancing the competitiveness of Vietnamese export goods is not merely an immediate necessity but a long-term strategy to enable deeper participation in global value chains.

The first Spring Fair 2026 opened on February 2 at the National Exposition Centre in Dong Anh commune, Ha Noi, becoming a major cultural, economic and social highlight of the Lunar New Year season.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the opening of the first Glorious Spring Fair 2026 themed “Connecting Prosperity – Welcoming a Glorious Spring” at the Viet Nam Exposition Centre (VEC) in Ha Noi’s outlying Dong Anh commune on February 2, urging it to become a national consumer festival.

Pursuant to the direction of the Ha Noi People’s Committee, from Feburary 2 to 13, 2026, the Ha Noi Department of Industry and Trade, in coordination with relevant units, will organise a promotional and product showcase space themed “Tet Reunion” at the first Spring Fair in 2026.

With the theme “Connecting Prosperity - Welcoming a Glorious Spring”, the Spring Fair 2026 is assessed not only as a large-scale trade and service event, but also as an important political task, contributing to stimulating consumer demand and developing the domestic market during the peak Tet season.

As part of trade promotion activities toward the Viet Nam Glorious Spring Fair 2026, the Viet Nam Trade Office in India, in coordination with industry associations of both countries, organised an online seminar to connect businesses and expand cooperation in textiles and garments, footwear, wood products and furniture.
