The service will begin on February 15 with the introduction of 20 mobile charging vehicles in 14 provinces and cities: Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Hanoi, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Da Nang, Gia Lai, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Ba Ria-Vung Tau and Ho Chi Minh City.

The service is expected to expand to all provinces and cities throughout the country in June with a total of 100 mobile charging vehicles.

The cost for 15 minutes of mobile charging will be 50,000 VND (2.12 USD), which allows a travel distance of up to 40 kilometres for a VF e34 car and 30 kilometres for the VF8.

The mobile charging stations will also offer basic repair and replacement services at a cost similar to those at the company’s service workshops and customers will pay no additional surcharges.

A company representative said the rollout of the mobile charging and repair services is Vinfast’s next step in completing its electric car ecosystem in Vietnam, which includes 150,000 charging ports installed nationwide.
