First-ever Norwegian seafood day in Vietnam held in Hanoi

The Norwegian Seafood Council in collaboration with its local partner organised the first-ever Norwegian Seafood Day in Vietnam at Vincom Mega Mall Times City in Hanoi on June 3.

According to Dr. Asbjorn Warvik Rortveit, Norwegian Seafood Council’s Regional Director for Southeast Asia, the festival not only focused on introducing the value of the world-famous "Seafood from Norway" trademark but also aimed to contribute to fostering Vietnam-Norway partnership.

Norwegian Ambassador to Vietnam Hilde Solbakken expressed her hope that the festival will bring the taste of Norway to seafood lovers in Hanoi and across Vietnam in general.

The event also included many interesting activities such as the display of Salmon and Brown crabs from Norway, seafood-tasting activities, and lucky gifts for customers.
