At the forum, delegates affirmed that agricultural cooperative development has an important position and role in the development of agriculture, farmers and rural areas. The new context creates opportunities but also poses many challenges for agricultural cooperative development, especially sustainable development.

Besides, it is necessary to change the thinking to develop the agricultural economy, in which green transformation in agriculture is an extremely difficult process, requiring great perseverance and political determination.

To improve the effectiveness of the green transformation process of agricultural cooperatives, it is necessary to focus on communicating and disseminating the Party's policies, mechanisms, policies and laws of the State on sustainable development and green growth for cooperatives.

Along with supportive policies, agricultural cooperatives need to raise awareness of responsible production and consumption. Responsible production is producing according to sustainable standards or aiming for sustainability and not harming the environment.
