Greetings extended to Lao People’s Revolutionary Party on its 68th founding anniversary

On March 17, o n the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the founding of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party LPRP (March 22, 1955 – 2023), Vietnamese Ambassador to Laos Nguyen Ba Hung extended greetings to the Head of the LPRP Central Committee's Commission for External Relations Thongsavanh Phomvihane .

Ambassador Nguyen Ba Hung expressed his delight at the achievements that Laos has obtained over the past years, affirming that these achievements were attributed to the correct leadership of the LPRP, including the important contribution of the LPRP Central Committee's Commission for External Relations.

Emphasising that the relationship between the two countries has positive development momentum, the position of Laos, as well as Vietnam, is increasingly enhanced, Ambassador Nguyen Ba Hung said, with many important events, the Year of Solidarity and Friendship 2022 has been successfully jointly organised by the two sides, and 2023 promises to have many important activities which will once again affirm the "unique" special relationship between Vietnam and Laos.

Head of the LPRP Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations Thongsavanh Phomvihane affirmed, that the LPRP has always accompanied the Communist Party of Vietnam, shared the same class ideals, and has experienced many historical milestones,as well as jointly develop and build each country.

The Lao Party, State and people have always remembered the fine feelings and will always foster great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
