In Pictures: Thirteen foreign military troops join Victory Day parade in Russia

In addition to Russian forces, the parade on Red Square to mark the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Great Patriotic War also featured the presence of military troops from 13 countries that maintain friendly relations with Russia.

A unit of 68 military officers from the Army Officer Training School No.1 represented the Viet Nam People’s Army in the parade. Viet Nam’s participation in the parade reaffirms its foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, multilateralisation and diversification of relations, while reflecting its commitment to building and maintaining a peaceful, stable, cooperative and developing environment.
