In the morning, candidates sit the Literature examination, which lasts 120 minutes. In the afternoon, they take the Foreign Language examination, lasting 60 minutes.

Mathematics, the final examination subject, will be held on the morning of May 31 and will last 120 minutes.

On June 1, candidates seeking admission to specialised high schools will sit their subject-specific examinations.

Earlier, on May 29, candidates visited their examination sites to complete registration procedures, receive instructions on examination regulations and schedules, and correct any errors in their personal information where necessary.

Under the examination regulations, candidates are prohibited from bringing mobile phones, smartwatches, or any devices capable of transmitting or receiving signals into the examination area.

Such devices must be deposited in designated storage areas before candidates enter the examination room.

Candidates are permitted to bring only the following items into the examination room: pens, pencils, erasers, rulers, set squares, protractors, drawing instruments, and non-programmable calculators without text-editing functions or data storage capabilities.

To ensure the examination proceeds smoothly and securely, the Ha Noi Department of Education and Training has coordinated with relevant departments, agencies, and local authorities to make thorough preparations, with particular emphasis placed on examination supervision and contingency planning.
