The Hanoi Gift Show 2023 opened in the capital city on October 1, with a total of 450 pavilions, including some run online, of domestic and foreign businesses and handicraft production facilities.

The Hanoi Gift Show 2023 takes place from October 1 to 4, 2023, at the National Architecture and Construction Planning Exhibition, Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi.

The event is expected to attract more than 10,000 visitors and transactions both face-to-face and online.

Through the fair, businesses and handicraft production facilities have many opportunities to promote and introduce handicraft products, strengthen connectivity, and promote the consumption and export of handicraft products.

“The fair promises to continue to reap many successes, contributing to bringing the handicraft industry of Hanoi and Vietnam to international friends around the world, promoting export and sustainable development of the Vietnamese handicraft industry," said Tran Thi Phuong Lan, Acting Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade.

Currently, there are more than 1,350 craft villages with about 176,000 craft households in Hanoi City, accounting for 45% of the total number of craft villages in the country.

After 11 years of organisation, the Hanoi Gift Show has affirmed its role as a prestigious export handicrafts fair in the Asia-Pacific region, attracting more than 5,000 booths of more than 2,250 production facilities from provinces, cities, and more than 30 countries.
