The plan aims to rebuild construction works, properties and infrastructure and restore economic sectors’ production activities.

Under the plan, policies will be introduced to provide housing support for affected residents. Public investment and other social resources will be mobilised to reconstruct infrastructure, factories and economic facilities.

In addition, Quang Ninh will look for solutions to optimise and further enhance its strengths, such as tourism and coal mining, as well as seize opportunities to address the shortcomings in its recent economic development.

Earlier, the province adjusted its 2024 budget to allocate 1 trillion VND (over 40.6 million USD) towards overcoming the damage caused by Typhoon Yagi, stabilising people’s lives and restoring economic activities.

Besides the provincial budget, Quang Ninh has also received donations worth 75.7 billion VND (nearly 3.1 million USD) to deal with the storm’s consequences.
