The ceremony recognised Hanoi’s dynamic business community, which now boasts nearly 400,000 enterprises - one-third of the nation’s total. These businesses play a pivotal role in driving Hanoi’s economic transformation and growth, excelling across various sectors domestically and internationally.
The event highlighted the emergence of a new generation of young, innovative entrepreneurs, pioneering creative business models and embracing digital transformation and green economy initiatives. This forward-thinking approach enhances their competitiveness and commitment to sustainable development.
During the ceremony, over 100 outstanding entrepreneurs and enterprises received national and municipal commendations for their remarkable achievements.
Demonstrating social responsibility, the Thang Long business community actively supports social welfare programmes. At the ceremony, over 1.3 billion VND was raised to assist war veterans and disadvantaged families in honour of the Vietnam People’s Army’s 80th anniversary.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Chairman of Hanoi’s People’s Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen praised the business community’s contributions, calling for collaborative efforts to tackle challenges like traffic congestion, environmental pollution, and flooding. He encouraged businesses to innovate in emerging fields such as AI, clean energy, and biotechnology, aligning with global standards and integrating deeply into global supply chains.
